Zoo Games Set to Release Cipher Prime’s Auditorium in 3D High Definition this Fall
Zoo Publishing and Cipher Prime are wrapping up development on the console version of Auditorium, a 3D HD version of the hit Internet puzzle game.
Cincinnati, OH – June 15, 2010 – Zoo Publishing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zoo Games, Inc., which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zoo Entertainment, Inc. (ZOOE:OB) is set to release independent powerhouse Cipher Prime’s sensory-igniting Auditorium this fall. Despite its original release date being set for the beginning of 2010, the date has been pushed back to allow for additional development so that Auditorium can be released as a 3D title in high definition.
Auditorium challenges players to transform visual inputs into audio outputs by manipulating a constant stream of light into “audio containers” in order to solve puzzles within the game. “We’re thrilled to be working with Cipher Prime on the release of this incredibly unique title,” said Mark Seremet, CEO of Zoo Games. “It certainly is unlike anything else out there, and with the addition of 3D capabilities, this title is set to be one of the most distinctive games of the year.”
With the technology for 3D video games quickly becoming a reality, developer Cipher Prime is elated that its upcoming console release will capitalize on 3D buzz. “Anything that can help us connect more with gamers as they play our titles is worth the extra time and effort to incorporate into development,” said Will Stallwood, one half of the Cipher Prime duo. “We’re very excited about what 3D and HD will bring to the gaming industry, and how it will inevitably shape the development of our games.”
Auditorium is slated for release this fall and will be available on Playstation Network and Playstation Portable.
